Happy 2009 to everyone! Thank you very much for following my blog and I wish you all the best for this coming year!
I celebrated the arrival of the new year with my family at home, and I could not have been happier :) We snuggled up on our sofas to watch a movie until twelve o'clock was upon us. We hurried around preparing everything for the arrival of 2009. Kabooooom! we set off a tischbombe, then a second, then a third! Toys and cheap plastic instruments that don't work went flying everywhere! We all got a stock of streamers to blow on each other till we ran out. Then we filled our glasses up with Remuss (bubbly, fancy grape juice) and cheered in the new year with laughter and happiness. While still wound up with all the excitement we continued with celebrations of dressing up in streamers and other silly things that people are bound to do when they are sleep deprived. We finally decided we had better head off to bed and so we did.
On New Years day we had a nice lunch of roclette (I apologize if I spelled that wrong) while sitting on the living room floor on pillows which made it a unique, and I found, very fun meal.
